I regret that my practice is full at the moment and I cannot offer consultations until approximately in and around April. It might be wise to continue looking for a therapist and if you have not found someone by the late March, you could contact me again. Alternatively, if you are happy to wait and don't require immediate therapy, please send me your enquiry by email and I will put you on the waiting list. As soon as I have an opportunity, I will offer you a consultation. Thanks.

My practice

I work in brief (up to 6 sessions), time-limited (10-20 sessions) and open-ended therapy. Which is appropriate for you will depend on you and your situation, any previous therapy you may have had, as well as how you respond to therapy. We will discuss this and agree the most suitable plan.

I currently work mainly face to face, in a good-sized, ventilated room. The practice has Covid-secure measures in place including somewhere you are can wash your hands on arrival. I offer some online and telephone sessions as well for those who cannot or don't wish to travel. Please ask if you are undecided.

To start with, we will think about a focus for our work and you can talk to me in anyway you want about what is on your mind, either present or past, big or small. We will begin to observe how you relate to other people and whether you are  We will consider what patterns you repeat that keep you stuck in a unhelpful situation. It can be enlightening to discover where these patterns come from and why you adopted them.  Your therapy is a two-way process and can at times be challenging as we work together in a thorough but compassionate way.  Whether you decide to have long term or very brief therapy, I hope you will come away from the process with a stronger and more forgiving sense of self, a clearer understanding of the difficulties that brought you here, as well a more hopeful outlook to your future.
